Barnwood Entryway Table

Entryway or sofa table fashioned from the top of an old dresser & barnwood.  The top has been sanded, stained, & sealed.  It has a gorgeous beveled edge!  We hand-built the frame & cross pieces from barnwood & stained it with white stain so you can still see the beautiful cracks in the wood. 

If I had room in my apartment, I wouldn't be selling this beauty!

Curvy Vintage Mirror

Lovely curvy vintage mirror that most likely was part of a dresser set.  It is very heavy & the frame is solid wood. Painted creamy white & lightly distressed.  There are a couple minor imperfections in the glass, but you don't even notice unless you look closely.

Wooden Ampersand

Wooden Ampersand cut out of weathered plywood.  The edges and back are painted white, but the front is natural.  I envision this as part of a gallery wall, on a stand like this on a bookshelf or sofa table, or as a cute, rustic prop for an engagement photo shoot or a wedding! 

I (Kristina) am pretty proud of this baby... I cut with a jig saw all by myself!  Dad wasn't even there to supervise! :)

Sneak peeks!

Hello friends!  Welcome to our blog!  

We are Kristina Alaine & Marty Lee, a dad & daughter team who make hand-built barnwood furniture & rustic home decor.  Together, we're combining Kristina's creativity & Marty's woodworking skills to bring you that perfect piece to complete your home.

It all started when Kristina moved out into her first apartment, didn't own a thing, & started utilizing her handyman dad, his garage full of tools, & the pile of wood from their old barn to furnish & decorate her new home.  She never really stopped dreaming or recruiting her dad to help her with her latest project.  She's learned a lot along the way, & realized that all of those "simple" things you see on Pinterest wouldn't be possible without the tools & skills Marty has! Well, her apartment is full now, but Kristina's still dreaming, so we're offering our pieces, along with our time, tools & experience to you!

On Saturday, May 24th, we'll be making our grand debut at the Vintage Lynchburg Spring Market, and until then we'll be posting sneak peeks of what you'll be able to purchase at the market!  After the sale, you'll be able to purchase or request a custom order from this blog or our Facebook page.
